Privacy Policy – TNPSC Quiz Tamil

TNPSC Quiz Tamil ("the app") is an independent exam-practice app published by Thee Local Jobs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official app of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) or the Government of Tamil Nadu. For official information visit https://www.tnpsc.gov.in.

1. Information stored by the app

Your quiz progress, scores, bookmarks, language and reminder settings are stored only on your own phone. We do not create user accounts and we do not collect your name, phone number, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and use the device's advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), and app usage and diagnostic information to show ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraud. Where required by law (for example, for users in the EEA/UK), the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy settings in the app. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads.

3. Internet access and links

The app uses the internet to load ads and the latest job notification list from https://www.theelocaljobs.com. Links to job posts and official websites open in your web browser and are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.

4. Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app shows one local notification per day. No data is sent to us for this. You can turn it off any time in the app's Settings.

5. Children's privacy

The app is intended for exam aspirants aged 18 years and above. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Data security and deletion

All data sent by the ad SDK is encrypted in transit. You can delete everything the app stored by using Settings → Reset progress in the app, or by uninstalling the app.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
